Imouto
Imo was bonded with Ane when we adopted her. When we first met her at an adoption event, she was hiding under a table. When she came home with us, she was stressed for two days, pacing our house, but bonded quickly to my husband. Soon, she did with the whole family. She was a vocal Shiba, and that’s what we loved about her. She knew exactly how to communicate with you, which made it easy to know what she wanted. She loved looking outside and frequently stopped her walks to sit and stare in the woods. She loved attention from us and demanded it. We will miss her loud greetings when we come home from work, both her and Ane staring out the window, sun bathing, and barking at the same things together. We will miss everything about her. We have commented forever that she and Ane are the perfect dogs. It’s beyond me how anyone could give them up. But I’m glad they did because they gave us almost 5 years with her. We miss her immensely.
