Hi everyone! My name is Magnolia, and I’m a 3-year-old red female Shiba Inu. I’m one of the 20 Shibas who came in during the second wave of the #60ShibasRescue, and our group was given tree-themed names. Magnolia is a pretty name, don’t you think? A DC SIR volunteer picked me up, and I had a very long car ride to Shiba HQ with some of the other Shibas. It was quite a journey, but I was happy to finally arrive at my new home for now. After spending so much time in the car, I was especially excited to get out, stretch my legs, and explore my new surroundings. There was so much to see and smell! I’m a pretty outgoing and friendly girl, and I’ve gotten along great with everyone I’ve met. I really enjoy being around people and other animals, and I’m always ready to make a new friend. One of my favorite new buddies is Sir Kitty, the senior cat. He often sleeps right in my x-pen with me, and I think that’s pretty special! I also love to play! I especially enjoy romping around with my buddy Ranger. We have a great time running, chasing, and having fun together. I have lots of playful energy and would love a family who enjoys keeping me busy and giving me plenty of opportunities to play and explore. I’ve been through a lot of changes, but I’m taking everything in stride and showing everyone what a sweet, happy girl I am. I’m ready to keep learning, and find my forever family. I’m hoping my future home will have someone who will enjoy my playful personality, give me lots of love, and let me be part of the family. Do you think it could be you?
