The DCSIR Media Coordinator will be responsible for updating DCSIR’s Twitter account and E-mail list and explores other areas of publicity by keeping DCSIR’s fans, followers and volunteers notified of adoptable dogs, adoptions, events, etc.Weekly hours: 1 – 5 hours as dogs come in and events arise.

• Knowledge in use of Twitter and other social media websites

• Ability to build a following

• Ability to maintain DCSIR’s core values in use of communication

• Coordinates with DCSIR’s Board Members, Development Coordinator and Foster families to obtain publicity information and media

• Ensures wide and prolific dissemination of information regarding DCSIR’s adoptable dogs and events

• Must have access to email and internet throughout the day

• Must love Shiba Inus and primitive breed dogs!
